On the spot. There is a common place and its projection. There is a character and its projection. There is the deed and its projection upon us.

Suzana Dan, Ferenczy Botond and István László are all on the spot.

No matter if we are talking about Barbie, the one torn apart by Suzana Dan’s innocent dogs and mourned by garden gnomes. Suzana’s characters, next to the warning messages, also project an almost necrophagous society full of irony and humor.

No matter if we are talking about the image of a character projected on the canvas or on a wall, from a random story in Ferenczy Botond’s case. A character caught in a time trap, a character that looks with detachment in an unexpected game.

No matter if we are talking about István László’s Old Man watching silent. The Old Man probes society, walks and sees, seeks and reflects. He watches and is being watched. He is silent. He listens.

On the spot. An innocent crime. A freeze frame. The Old Man.
