Do you remember those cartoons and comics from the 1960s-1970s that reflected the counterculture, the rejection of sexual taboos, the ridicule of “the establishment”? The same type of graphism, the same way to synthesized form, a little bit more irony and a certain detachment described, by the playful and, in the same time, serious line, characterize some of Botond Ferenczys works. From the esthetic of cartoons, to Japanese Manga, to pop art and street art, everything draws the artistic appanage of Ferenczy works and projects, defining a world between urban trendy and children playground.
One Shot represents an image, a frame, a fragment, a moment from a randomly selected story. A freeze frame, from a narrative story, without beginning and without ending. An intuitive, mental sequel of the spectator.
